The Desert Type

The horses found among the nomadic Bedouin possessed certain common physical traits regardless of their particular strain or family. Those who survived to maturity all had the unmistakable look of an enduring athlete and warrior.

Horseman the world over, acknowledge the Arabian Horse as the greatest equine distance runner of all breeds, hence the Arabians dominance of endurance racing. This attribute is time tested and unquestioned as a breed characteristic. Disposition is another factor of desert type which must be experienced to be appreciated. The Desert Bred Arabian is exceedingly intelligent, very gentle, tolerant and proud. He is a partner, a teammate and a friend. He is a zealous comrade possessing great spirit, fire, energy, and the willingness necessary to attain excellence. He is a family member, protector and a most unique companion.
